Area Activities

Area activities and attractions are many and varied. No matter what your level of activity or interest is, you will find something to do in the area. We've got lakes with hundreds of kilometers of shoreline, rivers, mountains and many kilometers of hiking trails.

Days can be spent exploring hidden coves and historical petroglyphs, lying in the sun on the many beaches or swimming in 70 degree waters. Or soar high in the sky in the summer by parasailing with local operators. If your visit is in the winter then you will have access to many kilometers of snowmobile trails that take you up into the high country or cross country ski and snowshoe at lower elevations. Down hill skiing is only a short drive away.
